I would agree that your shot is a little noisy - especially in the screen area of the phone and in other darker areas - and especially when viewed at 100% - but I had a quick play in Adobe Camera Raw and it was easily dealt with. It may be worth a try since even if it has been a display model - someone could have pushed the sharpening up in camera and other quirky settings such as Highlight Tone Priority (though in all honesty not sure that would impact on noise) and the myriad of other combinations of settings that can be changed.Īlso - there was a Firmware upgrade about 3 - 4 months ago which might impact - might be worth a try before you take it back.
